Situated next to the Macquarie River and the famous Ross Bridge our boutique 4-star Georgian Style accommodation is well-appointed with delightful gardens for your enjoyment. We are a small accommodation provider with 11 rooms which ensures a wonderful sleep, enhanced comfort and privacy during your stay with us.

The river offers an abundance of wildlife and the tranquility of the flowing water and riverbank trees.     We booked Riverview at Ross on Wotif and were very surprised at the attention to detail of the management. The accommodation is one street off the Main Street of Ross, opposite the river and is extremely quiet. The grounds are immaculate with well kept lawns and lovely flower beds. The rooms are clean and tidy with good block-out curtains. Free Unliimited NBN WiFi was offered. The local hotel/pub is a short 2 min walk away and we enjoyed a very nice evening meal and then walked home. Overall, a great place for a quiet overnight stop.

Nothing was too much trouble and we felt well looked after and catered to during our stay The grounds/ gardens are beautiful - it’s so peaceful and quiet here - felt very relaxed. The rooms are like little cottages its very quaint!. The accommodation is very well maintained - the bathrooms are spacious and clean, it really was a joy to stay here - highly recommend.     Lovely clean smart looking hotel. Owners and staff friendly. Close to Ross bridge, female penitentiary, scallop pies, wool museum and places to eat. Beds and shower so comfortable. Do your washing here. The town is marvelous. Just a real nice area.

    My friends booked the 4 of us in for a night at Riverview at Ross – I usually opt to stay in hotels and to be honest was not looking forward to staying in a different style of accommodation. Well what a surprise ! The rooms are beautifully styled with a Georgian feel, the attention to detail within is as good as any hotel I have stayed in -It was an extremely comfortable stay, the grounds are immaculate and the position quiet and peaceful. I live in Hobart and will be recommending Riverview at Ross to all my friends as a perfect stopover. Janet Jan 2024

    This is a beautiful clean and well run motel. I was very impressed with the thoughtfulness put into each aspect of the rooms and the facilities. Very well decorated, comfortable beds and scrupulously clean. Lovely, friendly and helpful reception upon arrival
