MACRAWEAVE witH The Knotted nest - Weekend Workshop

  • Riverview at Ross 2 High Street Ross, Tasmania, 7209 Australia (map)

Step away from the busy world for a weekend and immerse yourself in creativity in the charming village of Ross.

I would love to welcome you to one of my 2-day macraweave workshops held in the picturesque township of Ross. Nestled on the banks of the Macquarie River and known for its beautifully preserved sandstone buildings and charming village atmosphere Ross is considered one of Tasmania's finest heritage villages and home to the famous Ross Bridge, built by convict stonemasons in 1836.

Over two relaxed and creative days you'll discover macraweave - a beautiful craft that blends the art of macrame with weaving to create a unique, textured fibre artwork.

These workshops are ideal for beginners as well as anyone who would like to take their macrame or weaving skills a little further.
You'll learn the techniques step-by-step in a small supportive group of like-minded people, with plenty of time to enjoy the creative process, share conversation and a few laughs along the way. By the end of the weekend, you'll leave with new skills, wonderful memories and your own finished macraweave piece.

It's a lovely way to slow down, connect with others and spend a creative winter weekend in a truly beautiful setting.
