Situated next to the Macquarie River and the famous Ross Bridge our boutique 4-star Georgian Style accommodation is well-appointed with delightful gardens for your enjoyment. We are a small accommodation provider with 11 rooms which ensures a wonderful sleep, enhanced comfort and privacy during your stay with us.

The river offers an abundance of wildlife and the tranquility of the flowing water and riverbank trees. Take a leisurely stroll to Church Street in the centre of Ross to be impressed with the settlement history still standing in all its grandeur and delight in the quaint shops and places of interest on our iconic main street

  • "Great accommodation with lovely management" We booked Riverview at Ross on Wotif and were very surprised at the attention to detail of the management. The motel is one street off the Main Street of Ross, opposite the river and is extremely quiet. The grounds of the motel are immaculate with well kept lawns and lovely flower beds. The rooms are clean and tidy with good block-out curtains. Free Unliimited NBN WiFi was offered. The local hotel/pub is a short 2 min walk away and we enjoyed a very nice evening meal and then walked home. Overall, a great place for a quiet overnight stop.

  • "It was a little home away from home - the rooms are cosy and comfortable. The cleanest accommodation we stayed in in Tasmania - we rate it as the best. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt well looked after and catered to during our stay The grounds/ gardens are beautiful - it’s so peaceful and quiet here - felt very relaxed. The rooms are like little cottages its very quaint!. The accommodation is very well maintained - the bathrooms are spacious and clean, it really was a joy to stay here - highly recommend.

  • "What a little gem" We stayed here 1 night on our way to Launceston. What a lovely place to stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were within walking distance to everything. The rooms were clean and very well appointed, the bed was very comfortable. The grounds are very well maintained and a pleasure to sit and look at while enjoying your morning coffee. The accommodation offers smoking areas but we opted to sit and enjoy our coffee on the bench outside the entrance looking out at the river and enjoyed the view. Would definitely recommend a stay here on your travels.

  • "What a surprise !" My friends booked the 4 of us in for a night at Riverview at Ross – I usually opt to stay in hotels and to be honest was not looking forward to staying in a different style of accommodation. Well what a surprise ! The rooms are beautifully styled with a Georgian feel, the attention to detail within is as good as any hotel I have stayed in -It was an extremely comfortable stay, the grounds are immaculate and the position quiet and peaceful. I live in Hobart and will be recommending Riverview at Ross to all my friends as a perfect stopover.
